...Technical Notes...

- Tech support has been getting many reports of units not charging, units shutting off after 20 to 30 seconds and songs not playing in order. First, the issue of non charging is almost always resolved when you turn the unit on while charging. It is also a good idea to just keep the top switch turned on and use the middle play button to turn on and off the unit. Also you can always see the amount of charge of the battery by going to any module to play something and it will show the battery level. Second, the unit when it starts turning off after a few seconds has to deal with setup changes you have made. If you go into setup and change the power off setting to 10 to 30 seconds, the unit will turn off if there is no activity for that amount of time. If you don't want it to shut off please do not change the settings. The setting is usually set at a minute of no activity. Lastly, leave replay mode on automatic and don't change song replay to random and songs will play in the order saved to the unit. Many of the calls have to always deal with setup changes and not a defective unit. Please refer to the manual or call the store you purchased your item or tech support services for directions if you are unclear what to do.
- Issue 4; songs play for 7 seconds then goes to the next song etc. You have changed the repeat setup to play the intro of songs only. You need to change it back to normal or something else.
- When using iTunes please upgrade to the latest version. If you do not sometimes iTunes Agent will lock up or not install properly. Below is the link for the newest version of Apple iTunes...
- Customers need to be aware that we are not technical support for your Windows XP OS, iTunes etc. We will assist you in all areas as far as our units are concerned. We however will not support areas of computer system use that is beyond our scope of service. We are fielding many questions that have nothing to do with our units but other software issues and Windows issues. This is not part of free technical support from Mipodzs MP3 Stores. These issues need to be resolved through Microsoft, Apple or the software companies that support the applications you have installed. Sometimes the reason the units are not connecting or operating properly is due to computer and applications you have installed of which we have no control of. We always do our very best to resolve every issue.
- A customer recently made this recommendation. Leave the on off button on the top of the unit on all the time and just turn the unit off and on by using the middle play button on the click wheel.

- iTunes Sync v1.4.0 Released
Do you want to be able to sync any MP3 Player with iTunes, regardless of what brand it was? Welcome to iTunes Sync. In just a few easy steps you can synchronize any iTunes playlist with any MP3 Player that shows up as a drive letter in Windows!. Click here to download....iTunes Sync 1.4.0 has been released and it’s jam packed full of changes. The biggest change in this new release is that iTunes Sync can now check for updates on program startup, if you so desire. The auto-update check is enabled by default but can be easily disabled using the system tray menu. The other big change is the re-design of the synchronize window (again). I have merged the “Select a Drive” window with the sync window, so that you can get your music sync’d easier, with less clicks.

iTunes Sync
Do you have iTunes? Do you have an iPod? I guess you don’t have an iPod, otherwise you probably wouldn’t be reading this. I have iTunes, I don’t have an iPod, but I wanted to be able to sync my MP3 player with iTunes, regardless of what brand it was… and so iTunes Sync was born. In just a few easy steps you can synchronize any iTunes playlist with any MP3 player that shows up as a drive letter in Windows. You can use either a standard playlist or a dynamically updating smart playlist to synchronize your MP3 Player. It’s as simple as 3 easy steps:
Softpedia 100% Clean Award * Setup a playlist in iTunes that you want to sync to your MP3 player

* Configure your MP3 player in iTunes Sync by giving it a name, selecting an “identification file or folder” and selecting a playlist from iTunes
* Now just click Synchronize and watch the magic happen!

You can configure as many different MP3 players as you need and synchronize each one with the different iTunes’ playlists. Amazing! Magic! Technology!
